The back-pressure retort is a medium‑ to small‑sized, microcomputer‑controlled device for back‑pressure sterilization. It employs electric heating, with water directly injected into the sterilization chamber and heated to generate high‑pressure steam required for sterilization, thereby disinfecting or sterilizing the items placed inside. Upon completion of the cycle, external compressed air and water pressure are used for rapid cooling, reducing the temperature of the contents to 45–50°C. This sterilizer features programmable control, enabling operation in two modes: boiling disinfection and rapid‑cooling pressure sterilization. The boiling mode is set to temperatures ≤100°C. It includes overload protection for the heater and an audible alarm upon completion of the sterilization cycle. With its simple operation and reliable safety features, this product is well suited for disinfecting and sterilizing food packaging, utensils, medical instruments, and other items. It is particularly ideal for use in food‑related research institutions as a dedicated apparatus for sterile testing.

Characteristics

● Equipped with an immersion-type electric heating element and featuring dry‑boil protection, the sterilizer automatically cuts off the heating power when the water level falls below the specified threshold, while simultaneously sounding an alarm.
● Equipped with a back-pressure device: Utilizes manual compressed-air back‑pressure technology to prevent vacuum‑packed products from swelling, collapsing, or deforming, thereby ensuring the integrity of their appearance. (Automatic back‑pressure available as an option.)
● Equipped with a timer for automatic control of the sterilization duration.
● The entire machine is custom-made from high-quality stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, easy maintenance, and a long service life.
● This product is equipped with a safety valve that automatically vents steam when the pressure exceeds 0.25 MPa, and an automatic power cut‑off upon overheating to 140°C, providing dual safety protection. It also features water‑less overheating protection and an automatic current‑overload cut‑off safety interlock, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
● Equipped with a rapid cooling system: Under back-pressure protection, manual water‑injection spray is initiated, ensuring uniform coverage of the product surface and swift, even temperature reduction. The temperature distribution is consistent with no cold spots, preventing package deformation. (Optional automatic water‑injection spray available.)
