Law enforcement officers are conducting an enforcement inspection.
Hotel:
The storage room has been turned into a workspace.
At a hotel on Dangxiao Street, law enforcement officers from the Zhangqiu Municipal Health Supervision Institute first inspected the hotel’s renewal status for its Public Place Sanitation License and the issuance of health certificates for its staff. However, the storage room on the third floor—identified by hotel staff as a “storage room”—was instead labeled as a “workroom.” Inside this so-called “storage room,” not only were clean linens neatly stacked, but used linens were also piled up alongside them. In addition, more than a thousand bottles of mineral water were stacked in one corner of the room. On the spot, the law enforcement officers ordered the staff to clear away the clutter and immediately replace the “storage room” sign.
According to reports, a storage room is typically a space used to store guest linens, amenities, and other items. Law enforcement officials stated that although the hotel complies with hygiene regulations in terms of room cleaning, its practice of stacking miscellaneous items in the storage room and failing to clearly label rooms violates the relevant provisions of the “Hygiene Standards for the Accommodation Industry,” which stipulate that “storage rooms for public supplies and equipment shall be well-ventilated and kept clean, and shall not be used to store toxic or hazardous materials or personal belongings.”
Hair salon:
Two hair salons on Huiquan Road also had numerous issues: at one, the manager was away and could not produce the renewal documents for the hygiene license; at the other, the renewal procedure for the hygiene license had not been completed. During the inspection, law enforcement officers further found that the cabinets in both salons were rarely used and had essentially become storage spaces for miscellaneous items. When asked about the color of the lighting during operation, the person in charge of Shangyin Styling replied that they were unsure.
Law enforcement officials stated that when barbershop cabinets are not used or when hairdressing tools are used only once, this does not comply with the “One Customer, One Use, One Disposal” requirement for shared hairdressing tools and facilities stipulated in the Hair Salon Hygiene Management Regulations.
