How to Properly Use Electric Heating Equipment Such as Oven Dryers

1. The oven must be placed indoors in a dry, level location to prevent vibration and corrosion.
2. Always pay close attention to the power supply: select the appropriate circuit breaker and power cable based on the oven’s power consumption and equipment capacity, and ensure that a reliable grounding wire is installed.
3. For an oven equipped with an electrical contact mercury thermometer thermostat, it is best to connect the two leads of the electrical contact thermometer to the two terminal posts on the top of the chamber. In addition, insert a standard mercury thermometer into the exhaust valve and open the valve’s vent hole. After adjusting the electrical contact mercury thermometer to the desired temperature, tighten the screw on the steel cap to maintain a constant temperature; however, care must be taken during adjustment not to turn the indicator dial beyond the scale markings.
4. Only after all preparatory procedures have been properly arranged may the test specimen be placed inside the oven; then connect the power supply and turn it on. The illumination of the red indicator light signifies that the oven has begun heating. When the temperature reaches the set value, the red light will extinguish and the green light will illuminate, indicating that constant-temperature operation has commenced. In addition, to prevent failure of the temperature control system, continuous monitoring is also necessary.
